In this activity, students will be designing and writing about their own original Pokemon Trainer or Gym Leader.

Drawing inspiration from past and current-day illustrations, students will learn to create their own original character design with a description and background story. Students will first be introduced to the lesson by analyzing and discussing artwork done by professionals in the field and why it is important to have character designers.
